{"id":6961,"date":"2013-12-11T12:38:20","date_gmt":"2013-12-11T12:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.protectia.eu\/presentation-of-the-new-ohim-website\/"},"modified":"2026-03-06T11:30:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T10:30:47","slug":"presentation-of-the-new-ohim-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.protectia.eu\/en\/presentation-of-the-new-ohim-website\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of the new OHIM website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week, for our \u201cPatents world\u201d video section we are going to escape a little bit from the main theme of the patents, proposing a video presentation of the new website of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euipo.europa.eu\/es\/home\">Office for the Harmonization in the Internal Market<\/a> (<strong>OHIM<\/strong>, in Spanish OAMI).<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this European Office is to<em><strong> protect the Intellectual Property in the UE<\/strong><\/em>, and is responsible for the registration of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.protectia.eu\/blog\/en\/trademarks\/benefits-of-community-trademark-registration\/#more-7121\">Community Trademarks<\/a> and designs.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gKYtpYEylC8?list=UU_EdazBt99xQQIuxj_ECE0Q\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The main novelties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 15px;\">The user comes first, through usability tests where real users can test the website.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The insertion of many more images and video to support the information, making easier for the user to understand the content.<\/li>\n<li>The new filing tools for filing trademarks.<\/li>\n<li>With the new \u201ce-search\u201d, with just one click away it is possible to accede to all information related to Community Trademarks and Registered community design.<\/li>\n<li>The new secure user area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IP protection can be very complex and for this reason OHIM wanted to design a more efficient and clear website, also characterized by a responsive design which make it accessible from every kind of device.<br \/>\nFrom Protectia Petentes y Marcas we welcome and congratulate the OHIM for the initiative and the effort spent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week, for our \u201cPatents world\u201d video section we are going to escape a little bit from the main theme of the patents, proposing a video presentation of the new website of the Office for the Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM, in Spanish OAMI).
